Portfolio

Hey all,
How are you doing? Over the next couple of months i will show you the portfolio i have built up so far. Today i am going to show you my sunset and sunrise collection, some of the pictures in here are only a few weeks old but others are over 3yrs old so here it is my lovely collection!

This one to me is quiet striking

The five suns is another of the favourites, when i show this to other people they tend to just tend to stand watch it like it just does not end

There have been times in the last few years where i have been driving down the road and i turn a corner or look behind me to see these great pictures sitting there on the horizon just waiting for me to take the picture and i suddenly have no camera. So anyway i hope you will enjoy this lovely collection as much as i have. All pictures in this blog post are Copyright Paul Shannon.

Winter Fun

Hey Guy's,
how are you doing? Having loads of fun i hope. Today i would like to show you a few pictures which i took at the 7up Winter Wonderland event which was held in the old hospital in kilmanagh in Dublin in december, just before christmas. I managed to get in free as i was a photographer for the students union who organised the trip from college.

This was just a little selection from the vast amount of pictures which were taken on the night, I had taken around 700 photos over a period of about 7 hrs so i hope you enjoy this little piece of Winter Fun.

Light

In this world of light, light is seen in many different ways for instance when you look into the night sky you can see the light from far away stars or when you walk down the street. But everyone does not see light the same as everyone else so here is a little collection of the way i can see light this is not how i see all light just some of it.

These few pictures show what can happen when you leave shutter open for a few seconds, you can get some lovely colours and designs. Many things can happen when working with light.

When i look at these pictures of fire works i not only see art but a recording  of a display of light that we may never see again.

With these sunset pictures you can make wonderful pictures just by moving the camera slightly while shooting and you get very unusual things too.
